| Requirements |

| 1. The full name, address and nationality of the applicant |
|
| 2. A trademark specimen |
|
| 3. A specification* of the goods and/or services to be designated in the application, i.e., a list of the goods/services according to the International Classification System (NICE) (multiple-class applications are permissible) |

| 4. An executed Power of Attorney, signed by the applicant or the representative of the applicant company, which may be a General Power of Attorney on file with the Korean Intellectual Property Office |
|
| 5. A Priority Certificate of the home application, including the filing date, filing number and the country where filed, when claiming a convention priority |
|
|
| * Goods/services to be designated must be specified in detail using common names; generic names are not acceptable. |

| Provisions for Late Filing
|
|
| The Power document may be late-filed together with the payment of a late fee. The due date for late filing,
which is determined shortly after filing the application, is one month from the issuance of a Notice to
Supplement Power. This due date, however, may be extended.
When claiming priority, the Priority Certificate(s) may be submitted within three months from the Korean filing date. |

Requirement to Use
|
|
| There is no requirement to use the trademark for the registration of trademark in Korea. It should be very well noted, however, that if
there is no use of the registered trademark by the trademark registrant or licensee on the designated
goods/services in the territory of the Republic of Korea for a period exceeding three years, the registration
may be subject to cancellation. |
