Expedited Examination for the following situations is allowed from  July 26, 2019.

① Where an applicant’s trademark application is opposed by a third party
② Where an applicant of a trademark application, who intends to apply for expedited examination, obtains a trademark search from a specialized institution designated by the commissioner of KIPO, and requests that the institution provides KIPO with the search result within one month from the date of requesting an expedited examination.
