| Change of the Official fee of the KIPO(effective as of July 28, 2010) |
In accordance with an announcement of the Korean Intellectual Property Office("KIPO"), several official
fees will be revised effective as of July 28, 2010, as follows:
Ⅰ. Introduction of installments for Trademark Registration Fee
- Registration fee for trademark in each class for five (5) years in two installments -------------------- ($114)
- Registration fee for trademark in each class for ten (10) years in one lump-sum -------------------- ($192)
Ⅱ. Introduction of installments for Registration Fee for Trademark Renewal
- Registration fee for trademark renewal in each class for five (5) years in two installments ------- ($168)
- Registration fee for trademark renewal in each class for ten (10) years in one lump-sum ------- ($269)
- Registration fee for trademark renewal in each class for five (5) years in two installments during the
grace period of six (6) months ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ($185)
- Registration fee for trademark renewal in each class for ten (10) years in one lump-sum during the
grace period of six (6) months ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ($295)
Ⅲ. The Official fee for opposition of trademark and design
- Official fee for opposition of trademark application in each class ----------------------------------------- ($43)
- Official fee for opposition of design registration in each article in case of non-examination design
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ($43)
※ The Official fee is converted at the exchange rate of 1,152 KRW/US$ on July 13, 2010. However, the official fee may be slightly changed due to the exchange rate.
